Alice Early Endorses Alex RandolphAlex with Alice

By: Brian Leubitz & Zoe Dunning, Alice Co-Chairs

We are extremely proud that Alice has early endorsed a true leader in the city, and fellow Alice Board member, City College Trustee Alex Randolph. Alex has served in leadership positions within Alice for many years, and has been doing the hard work of rebuilding City College since his appointment to the Board of Trustees this past April. Alex has demonstrated his commitment to the city and the LGBT community and he will continue to be a valuable asset to City College. We look forward to working hard to elect Alex this fall and support him in his continued service to CCSF.

Dear Alice Family,

To receive the support from the country’s oldest and first LGBT Democratic club means the world to me. I have had the privilege of working with Alice since 2006 and serving most recently as an emeritus member on the Board of Directors.

Neither of my parents had the opportunity to go to college so education has always been an important priority in my family. Higher Education helped me fulfill my American dream when I moved to the United States alone at the age of 16. Community College was my pathway to a better future and I am a proud product of the public education system here in California.

I see every day how education changes lives. Since Mayor Ed Lee appointed me, I have been working tirelessly with my fellow Trustees to revitalize City College. I promise to work hard and ensure that our students continue to have access to affordable higher education and a pathway to a better life through community college. It has been my privilege to fight for our hard working City College community, and I hope to continue that as your Trustee.

All my best,

City College of San Francisco
