Owen Stephens' Sermon to his hometown church

Alice Secretary Owen Stephens Board Secretary Owen Stephens gave a sermon last month at his family's church, the First Congregational Church (United Church of Christ) in his hometown of Murphys.

He was asked to speak by his pastor on the topic of growing up gay in a rural, conservative enviroment and how the church needs to 'come out' as a an openning and affirming congregation.
