Last-minute Barrage of Lies and Fraudulent Attacks Against Scott Wiener.

Scott Wiener has been the subject of a last-minute barrage of misinformation and lies in emails and flyers that grossly misrepresent Scott’s positions on hot-button issues such as rent control and health care.

Scott has forcefully responded to these lies on his website and we join him in urging you not to fall prey to these shameless attacks on Scott’s character and his record. Please read about Scott’s long history of Democratic leadership and accomplishments for yourself here.

The perpetrators behind this campaign of fear-mongering and deceit will be held accountable, but with the election imminent on November 2, it’s up to you, the voter, to look past these last-minute attacks and lies in order to make an informed choice.

We’re asking you to throw away those awful mailers and go instead directly to the source: the candidates’ own websites.

Read about Scott’s positions on the issues here and read all about Rebecca’s positions here.

Both candidates have a long record of Democratic accomplishments and either of them will serve our City well.

San Francisco deserves leaders who can represent us with integrity.

Scott Wiener and Rebecca Prozan for District 8 Supervisor

The Alice B. Toklas LGBT Democratic Club of San Francisco is our nation’s oldest LGBT Democratic organization and we’ve been fighting for justice, equality and LGBT rights since 1972. During each election cycle, we offer voters thoughtful endorsements on candidates and ballot measures that will move the City forward, making it a better place in which to live and work.

After carefully interviewing candidates and reviewing their positions on issues that matter most to District 8 residents, Alice has dually endorsed Scott Wiener and Rebecca Prozan for Supervisor.

We strongly urge you to cast your ballot for Scott and Rebecca as your first and second choice selections, in either order.

We believe that Rebecca and Scott will bring tremendous experience, creativity and, above all else, integrity to the Board of Supervisors.
